The Arcane representative
The position of Temple Overseer is one of great imporance. The great Shrine of the Earthshaker with it's glorious gems and solemn tombs is the place of burial. Death: when a dragon's body is found, the Earth Priest is summoned Immediately. the Priest blesses the body with a quick travel to the Overseer and peace. then the priest ties a birch wood carving of a bird and a Jadeitite stone using a strand of his own fur to the dragon's neck. then, they place a Limestone in the dragon's mouth. brich wood: help you find your way bird: will carry you over the forest of the lost Jadeitite: speed and a smooth ride Limestone: any unfinished business or guilt in Sornith is pardoned Burial: the dragon is placed in a solid obsidian casket and lowered into the jewel's grotto. (located in the forbidden shine of the Earthshaker) Imperials are lowered as well, because the Emperor dragons are considered the guardians of the dead. (the grotto is a crystal filled cave with a drop off, halfway down is a blue pool of peaceful water were the Emperor's sleep.) Obsidian: eternal peace Crystals: each crystal in the grotto is said to hold a memory of the dead who rest there. taking one is a huge offense or honor. honor if given by the Earth priest, Offense if stolen.
