That's the kind of sentence one can often hear ringing throughout the clan at all hours, especially in the darkest hours of night, when one mistakenly believes one's musing words will go unheard.
Always an excitable dragon, ever since obtaining a detective novel (that nobody ever managed to trace, but Irictor would always change the subject whenever it was mentioned), it was Lacertus' dream to solve every slightly odd happenstance, even if there was nothing really present to be solved in the first place. He has since become an expert on detective literature, scouring the Auction House for the perfect clothing, and pining over the fact he had no sidekick to speak of - that is, until one of Gizmo's experiments backfired and he was left with a smiling pulsating globule, that instantly became Lacertus' best friend.
