B I O G R A P H Y

______ Born in a cold cave on an empty shore, Midren was a strange dragon from the start. Despite being abandoned on that cold, lonely place she never once questioned it, never once grew angry. No, she only looks back and smiles, thinking of how far she has come. As she grew older Midren wandered beyond the borders of her home, exploring and growing. One of the first dragons she encountered was, shall we say, not the kindest. However, they took her under their wing and oh how she learned. They taught her the cruelness of the world, the tragedies of life, and the truth behind lies. As time passed and she grew, her mentor disappeared without a trace.

She would never know why.

Realizing she was alone once again, devastated at her abandonment, she began to wander once more. That is until she encountered another dragon- Aster was his name. At first, she was distrustful, but over time he was able to convince her to come to his clan with him. Perhaps it was the realization that she and he were not so different after all. Clans...something Midren had only heard about. The other clan members were wary of her, sensing something was off about her. However, they soon grew used to her, helped in part by her way with words. During this time she and Aster only grew closer, and eventually, he was able to convince her to start a new clan with him.

Or did she convince him?

A long time after they left, returning to the spot where she was born with a third surprising member named Furai, she realized that she wanted to keep moving. When she brought it up with the others they simply accepted and were even happy with the idea. So they began to travel, picking up new dragons that too seemed to never stop moving. Deep down inside Midren wondered if this was the only thing that kept them together. Then she realized that perhaps it was caring for each other that did.

She would never stop loving her clan, deep down inside.

______ Highly manipulative, Midren is a dragon that never was a follower. From the moment she was born she felt this deep yearning, calling to her. Later on, her mentor told her that it was he force behind all things, Chaos, that drove her forward.Others that were perhaps a bit saner would call it wanderlust.

Her deep-rooted belief in this has led her to become a secretive, yet determined dragon. She does not believe in fate so much as she believes everyone will die- what happens before then is chance. This has also led to many not trusting her at first until they realize that she is nothing if not loyal. You just have to earn it, and in turn, she does not trust easily.
