Zhanna

It is difficult to get to know Zhanna, for she is a seeming ball of contradictions. A dragon of few words, her internal life is nevertheless lively and she will quickly outwit anyone who dismisses her intelligence on account of her breed. In addition, though she may appear ponderous and conciliatory at first glance, her temper is capable of flaring ferociously if she feels that she or her loved ones have been insulted. Perhaps most importantly, her soft appearance belies her impressive tenacity and nigh-legendary stubbornness. These qualities are what allowed her to make the difficult trip out of the Ashfall Wastes, through the treacherous Shifting Expanse and coldly prejudiced Sunbeam Ruins, and finally, into the Tangled Wood in search of a better life. Less of a showman than her mate, she is nevertheless integral to his success as a clan leader, for she is often able to temper his more emotional impulses and will not hesitate to tell him when he is making a foolish error.
