She doesn't care who she has to get rid of to achieve her goal, and it shows in the deadly efficiency with which she does her job. She's mute, and speaks through her bird companion. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
Early Years
╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯Mani wasn't always mute. She used to be a singer, making money singing in various establishments. A few years into her career, she began being hired to slip poisons into peoples' drinks, talking to people in between songs and surreptitiously poisoning them vial by vial. It took a few more years, but eventually her illegal business was discovered and she had to flee to the Bastion. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
JOB
╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯The Verdant Consul is in charge of the more naturalistic elements of the Bastion, though those are few and far between. There's not many places where plants can grown on this freezing, storm-swept island, but the Consul has multiple conservatories, greenhouses and growing rooms in and around the Bastion. Multiple glass domes can be seen on the highest of the rocky cliffsides around the main island to try and soak up any traces of natural sunlight that manage to pierce the thick cloud cover, and protected rooms and vaults underground supply artificial light to the flora and fauna growing there. While the Bastion is technologically light-years ahead of the rest of the world, you can't survive off circuits and machines alone. That's where the Consul steps in. They aren't just food producers and gardeners, though. They're scientists too, just like so many other dragons on the Bastion. They specialize in plant-based experiments, brewing deadlier and deadlier poisons and cross-pollinating exotic plants to create terrifying hybrids. It's a little dangerous to have the same dragons working on both poison research and food production, but so far, nothing bad has happened. Well, nothing too bad. |

This one's made from two hybrids she engineered, and isn't so much an ingestible poison so much as it is a gas, able to infect an entire building just by setting a few drops in an air vent. Luckily for the Bastion, Knowledge is on their side, and the air vents are sectioned off floor by floor and building by building. It's just safer that way.
