The self-proclaimed "Faerie King", Bonito arrived from nature flight one day in disarray. He claimed many things, such as fairies lived inside his leafy gladeboughs, though no dragon has ever seen any fairies appear from them. The only companions of the spiral that are undisputed are a few snakes. Despite his sudden appearance and odd claims, the fact he able to find the gang without any help (minus the so called fairies he claimed told him where to go) he was brought into the clan to work under Kandis. The nature dragons seems to have an aura of revitalization. When feeling tired or ill dragons in the gang often visit Bonito for this effect. He seems unaware of why they visit him, often going on for great lengths about various topics.

No one is quite sure what happened to bonito's eyes. After a trip to his flight's domain, he returned with stunningly bright eyes and tales of hatchlings being born with different colored eyes. At first, he was dismissed, but then the rest of the gang saw the phenomenon themselves.

And that is why," Kandis said in her monotone voice for the third time, "you need to go to nature territory."Alastair looked between the fae, who seemed perfectly calm except for the position of her fins, which the Skydancer knew meant she was extremely annoyed, and the spiral, who was completely oblivious to Kandis's chagrin. "Well of course I wouldn't turn down a chance to visit my birth flight, but why would an ice dragon go there? Seems strange. Unless, perhaps, he was following the wind-" "Just look for him." Kandis cut him off abruptly. This seemed to throw whatever runaway train of thought Bonito had off the rails. He nodded, gave a smile, and took off. The Skydancer approached Kandis cautiously, her fins still folded back. "Are you quite alright?" "Of all the dragons in this clan I'm stuck sending him." Kandis said in reply, not exactly answering the question, but Alastair understood all the same. "As much as I hate to admit it, he knows it best and no one else seems to know where he could have gone." Bonito scaled the Behemoth with ease, singing and humming snatches of songs that flitted in and out of his mind like butterflies. Or perhaps fairies? Yes, he liked fairies better. "Excuse me? Could you please keep it down, you're awfully lo-" Bonito turned to face the voice, who belonged to a dragon that seemed familiar to him somehow and wore a puzzled look on his face. "Ah! Sorry, just humming what the fairies give me." "Bonito?" "Yes, that is my name!" The spiral said excitedly. "I must say you look awfully familiar-" "It's Zaurbek." "Oh." The spiral paused, waiting for the memory of the name to come to him. Fortunately, it came quickly. "Oh! Someone sent me to find you!" "Kandis?" "Ah... yes! Kandis!" "Who is that?!" Zaurbek sighed as Tule came up behind him. "Tule, this is my old clan mate Bonito." "Hi!" Tule enthusiastically waved at the spiral, who waved back just as enthusiastically. "I'm guessing they want me to come back?" "Back where?" Tule asked, looking right up an Zarbek. "Can I go?" |
