How long had he been sleeping? The fae couldn't remember the last time he'd opened his eyes to the world. He had been asleep for so long. Chance stretched his stiff muscles as the news reached him that he was going to a new home, again. It had been quite some time since he had traveled, but the excitement still invigorated him. He then came face to face with a mirror with rather odd colors. "Just follow me Chance, 'nd we'll be back to the clan lickity-split." "... What odd colors you have?" "Huh? Oh, yeah, somethin' weird happened a while ago where a bunch of hatchling started havin' different colors." The plague dragon chuckled. "How'd you miss that?' "It seems as though i've missed a lot of things... But from now on I'm going to be awake for them."

It was a fresh start. His parents and most of his children had been long exalted, so it was time to find new friends. Chance grew worried at first when he realized exactly what the Midnight Syndicate was, but worry changed to relief when he learned that he didn't have to steal."There's plenty of jobs that don't involve all the gangster stuff," Canis explained as the nature fae was shown around his new home. "Some dragons don't even have jobs yet." "Well I would like a job. I want to be of some help to my new family." "You'll think o' somethin' soon I reckon," the plague mirror replied with a grin.

Chance soon became a gardener for the clan, cultivating all sorts of plants for the clan's food stores. The variety of his garden is staggering, as he's even been able to grow plants thought to be extinct. The Bogsneak also tends to the plants that grow within and around the Midnight Casino.
