He was born with stars in his eyes. Though his parents excelled at magic, he wasn't especially gifted in that area. Instead, he was enthralled with the magic that appeared in the sky every night - space. His parents might be able to make things appear and disappear with magic, but what made the stars and celestial bodies appear at different times and in different places? He spends every night looking up, searching, hoping to learn the secrets of space.

To this end, he collects telescopes of all shapes and sizes - both antiques and those newly made with cutting edge technology. They all help him to see the night sky differently.
