B I O G R A P H Y

______ Byvow grew up surrounded by animals that were not dragons. His parents had moved deep into the wilds, far from any clan, just to be closer to these beings. Thus he was raised to see them almost as equals. His friends were what many would see as prey, but this was not all a good thing. For one he grew up never seeing another dragon other than his parents. For another, he thought that all saw the world as he was taught. His parents simply neglected to tell him this, not out of hate but simply unthinking.

They would never know the consequences.

As Byvow reached adulthood he was content with his life. However his isolation would not last forever, a clan had decided to settle nearby. At first he simply watched from afar, to afraid to approach. He let his parents to all the talking when they did eventually encounter each other. It wasn't until much later that he discovered that not all thought the way he did. He could only watch as, to his shock, one of the animals he called friend was killed. When in rage he attacked the other dragons, they explained that food was a necessity, not realizing that he had lived off plants.

He would later think, are plants not living?

Byvow would never quite forgive the other dragons, but he did understand that they were doing what they always had. His perfect life shattered, he realized there was so much to the world. After all even if others did not agree with him, that did not mean he couldn't make some difference. So he left to travel, to teach others to be kinder to the world they rely on. One day he came across a strange clan. At first he planned on continuing alone, but quickly realized that though the group may not seem it, they influenced far more than they realized.

Peace and innocence would never return, but it was always an illusion.

______ Byow had and always will be a dragon who believes in talking before fighting. An outspoken but overall friendly dragon, he simply wishes for a more peaceful and kind world. He is not ignorant of the cruelness of said world, but perhaps one day his dream will spread. Among his clan mates he will help them care for the animals they call companions.

Many in the clan scoff at his near naivety, but he simply refutes with his own beliefs. Often he can be found having a debate with Nacht over the very nature of the world, although he is far from spiritual. The only thing that truly makes him angry is needless killing, and his anger is something to be feared.
