Rey knows very little about her origins. Her earliest memories are of wandering in the deserts of the Shifting Expanse, although clearly she couldn't have been born there, her being a Light dragon. She spent many years alone in the Shifting Expanse, rejecting offers to join Lightning clans, as she waited for whoever must have left her there to return- until one day she ran into another dragon, Finn. She and Finn went on the adventure of a lifetime, exploring Sornieth and meeting friends- and enemies- along the way.
Soon enough, though, Rey and Finn were separated by a band of dragon outlaws. Desparate and alone, stranded in the Scarred Wasteland, Rey turned to the one dragon she knew of left: Kylo, a former member of said outlaws gone rogue... and her enemy.
Both trying to escape the bandits, but for reasons all their own, Rey and Kylo formed an unlikely friendship. They fled to his homeland of the Tangled Wood, and along the journey Kylo became amiable to Rey's suggestions of reinventing his outlook on life. By the time they found a friendly clan who would take them in, Kylo had changed irrevocably.
Now they live happily as mates in the Bellum clan- and although she has been reunited with one of her friends from her adventures, Poe, Rey still waits for the day when she can find Finn again.
