When Goby joined the clan he was enthralled by the massive hoard and vault that the Wikia clan had amassed. He felt more drawn to the vault than the hoard so, after becoming trustworthy to the clan, he began to train under Hoplite's watchful eye. He loves his job though it mostly consists of doing inventory work. He does enjoy filling out the lists and making sure that everything that enters and exits the vault has been properly processed.

Goby doesn't doubt that Hoplite is one of the reasons he loves his job so much. Goby and Hoplite get along incredibly well, it took them no time to become fast friends. During slow times they now both take care of the familiars together. Goby has also developed a love for all the different critters running around the Wikia lair.

One downside for Goby is that his job has increased his already incessant paranoia. He tends to triple check that all his paperwork reflects the exact state of the vault. If anything is amiss he immediately investigates it though that usually involves interrogating any clan member that came by the vault in the past week. Hoplite tries to help him but it really isn't something he can control.
