Biography

Even as a hatchling, Sandstorm never identified as the guardian his body indicated. He had a strong sense of wanderlust and was far more interested in journeying for the journey's sake than in looking for something to protect.

Before he even reached adulthood he left his birth clan to strike out on his own, and after wandering aimlessly for a while he happened across a new clan situated among the eternal breezes of the Windswept Plateau that invited him to stay for however long he wanted. While there he had the opportunity to change his body to reflect the snapper he'd always been, which he took without hesitation. The rest of the clan, to their credit, seemed largely unfazed by the transformation.

Sandstorm enjoys travelling too much to permanently settle down anywhere and has taken to accompanying Earthsong, another snapper, on her extended treks across the regions, though like her he considers the clan lair his home base now.

In the beginning of their travels he merely followed her example of collecting a few things here and there that could be useful to them, but soon he started bartering them for other valuable items from those they passed. It wasn't long before he was well-known across their regular route and had a flourishing trading business spanning its entire length, which has led him to the deeply satisfying discovery that he has a natural head for commerce.
