A knife clatters to the floor. Black and green fur is stained red. Purple eyes, once vibrant, now dead. Body, once never still, now limp. Voice, once never silent, now never to be heard again. The tundra lays there. She is dead, whispers many voices. She killed herself, more proclaim. All true. She gave up. She couldn't fight anymore. Perhaps it was nothing. Perhaps it was everything. Who is to say? The crowd stares down at the tundra's body, gazes cold and emotionless. She deserved it, they say. She was pathetic. She was useless. She was a waste of space. She was...she still is. Her body will disappear. Not of use to the earth or any animal for life. She is nothing. |
