Phasma wasn't born a medium. He was unintentionally made
into one. A near death experience along with a healing spell
from a warrior who knew only volatile magic created a pseudo-
death existence. His body is simultaneously on both plains
of existence, allowing him to talk to the already departed. He
can also, with great effort, force himself completely onto one
plain for a short period of time, allowing him to phase through
objects in the physical world. Due to this half living status, his
fatal neck wound will never heal, causing his neck bandages to
need changing quite often. His injury also causes chronic pain,
making him unable to return to his previous role in the clan.
Before the accident, he was a headstrong, adventurous warrior.
He has become much more subdued since, although his old
personality peaks through if you can distract him from his
current state for long enough.
