While Hypnotic was growing up, he was very timid and constantly doubted himself at times. Despite this, Hypnotic proved himself to be a capable leader countless times. However, one thing Hypnotic continued to possess as he got older, was his sense of right and wrong. Unfortunately, Hypnotic's senses of goodness and honor also make him an easy target for manipulation. Above all, Hypnotic knows his place is with the Black Shamrock Clan and by Maroux's side.

As the Commander of the Defenders, he is a very stern and serious male, not taking jokes, and never crying out or losing his cool. But when he does lose his cool, it is due to the rogues who irritate him the most. Hypnotic is not the party type either, but he occasionally attends little ceremonies.

Hypnotic can also be at the same time a very caring male Imperial, making sacrifices to ensure the safety of the patrols and their home, even he would go as far as to sacrifice himself to save them, his mate, and his children. He also has a strong sense of honor and loyalty. However, he can be willing enough to leave his code of honor and resort to rogue or rival Clan/Tribe tactics in order to succeed. The tasks of protecting dragons and stopping the enemies of the Clan simultaneously should have brought him to his knees, however he does not give up. Hypnotic would even risk his life to change a rogue to living the Clan lifestyle.

Hypnotic usually can relate foreign customs and other things. Once Hypnotic and Maroux found themselves stranded in the Arctic, they walked to find a signal back to camp, where Maroux fell down and Hypnotic helped her up very gently. This shows that Hypnotic can be a gentlemale, or a gentle giant. This was the beginning Point of their blossomed romance. When Maroux suggested they play a game, Hypnotic played with her. This also shows that he can make the most out of situations and wouldn't hesitate to play games. When Maroux cuddled up against his side in order to stay warm, he allowed his massive wing to create a hut like surrounding for her, trying to keep in the warmth that was created between the two. Proving only more so that he can be sweet inside and out.

Hypnotic can be a little impatient and thoughtful when heading to battle or patrolling, as he usually ruffles his wings back and forth. He usually makes small talk with the other defenders and can even relate to a few of them outside of duty. Hypnotic is very sociable and can be a great listener.

Hypnotic is also very stubborn, mainly to protect his dragons. He makes a point to be the moral compass of the team, this usually causes him to be the one to notice whenever some dragon was having a problem. Above all, he is very commendable, bold, caring, stern, and wise.

Hypnotic things either relate to hypnosis — putting people under spells — or anything that is mesmerizing and spellbinding.
