Hemlock has enthusiastically made himself the resident alchemist, considering himself Baldwin's apprentice. He eagerly examines any new items brought back to the lair by gathering parties, immediately trying to figure out how he could break them down into more basic components or completely change them into something else. He's set up his own work station in the further reaches of the lair, where he'll happily spend hours consulting with his serthis companion while bouncing between his many ongoing "experiments," much to the concern of the other clan members. His mother is the only one who can rein in his zealous behavior, an ability she's had to exert on more than one occasion.
