Thalassa was one of the earliest dragons to join the clan and is one of the oldest among them in general, and as such often acts as adviser to Canth on account of her increased experience.

She often leads gathering expeditions, as Canth insists there always be a responsible dragon with battle experience among them and she's one of the few who qualify. She's strong enough to handle most minor skirmishes gathering parties might encounter, and wise enough to recognize when a situation is beyond her capabilities and requires retreat.

Despite her birth element, Thalassa is a natural swimmer and can easily keep up with even a native Water dragon in the ocean. She enjoys relaxing off the coast, either drifting with the current or diving deep to the seafloor as her mood dictates.
Rivaling her affection for the water, she holds an appreciation for all types of birds. She maintains that any creature that makes its home in the sky is equal to any that lives beneath the waves.

For a time she and Seaglass nested together, though eventually they both decided they were no longer interested in raising any more hatchlings. They've remained close, having grown too used to the other in their lives to let their relationship fade.
