Biography

By VolcanicBaguette
Ambre swept the dust covering the pendant with a claw, eyes full of sorrow. Since a thousand years now, she had been guarding the ruby encrusted necklace, keeping it as close as possible to her heart.
She would have liked to meet the dragon that was now trapped inside, or at least see him. Yes, even seeing him would have been enough. Sure, she had heard stories of the mighty mage. She knew them perfectly. But it was too late to change them now.
The red guardian lifted her heavy body from the burning ground where she was resting, letting a sigh escape her mouth. It was time to go home.
She stretched her wings, sore from her last flight. It wasn't the first time that she went here, but it was still a really long travel
In this cave of onyx and melting lava, she was trying to find something - anything - that could have helped her free her charge. It was here that he had been last seen, and here that his clan had found the cursed collar.
In this cave, she had found a journal that belonged to him, to the mage. When she had discovered it something like sixteen years ago, or was it eighteen? She didn't really know anymore
She had read it, again and again, hoping to find clues to free him. When she first read it, all she felt was respect. But as she went through the pages, she had began to feel closer and closer to the one she considered as her charge.
Cruel destiny that the Flamecaller had held upon her, she has fallen in love with the dragon trapped in the pendant. Without even talking to him once, she knew so much about him. She had pushed this new feelings at the back of her head for a while, but she couldn't just ignore it.
That's why she started her quest of finding a way to free him, why she went here.
Amber started running, and finally leaped in the air. As she reached the sky, she whispered the old rule, as old as the gods themselves, like a war cry to give her strength in her quest. "A Guardian must help his charge no matter what. "
