Sunspot

Sunspot is one of the leaders of the clan along with Wisp. Sunspot is an old drake who is used to fighting to protect what is his and is set in his ways. After many years of serving his original flight, Sunspot decided that it was time for a change and soon found himself amongst this somewhat...interesting Light flight clan. After proving himself capable to then clan leader, Tatters, the small fae handed over de facto leadership to Sunspot since Tatters would rather tend to the clan's new hatchlings and sleep. Sunspot took to their new role with a quiet dignity and sternness that befitted the old guardian. However he didn't truly come into his own as a leader until he was joined by Wisp.

Being the one that found the young spiral dragon, Sunspot took it upon himself to teach him everything they know. Wisp's natural curiosity and enthusiasm meant that the spiral learned quickly and eventually Sunspot saw him as their equal. Where Sunspot is cautious and keen on rules, Wisp is willing to take more risks and bend the rules for the good of the clan. They both are incredibly strong willed and sometimes when they cannot come to the decision between the two of them or if the issue at hand is one that requires community input, then they will hold a vote amongst the clan.

Sunspot is demisexual and demiromantic. However before coming to this clan, he had very little experience in romance at least. He had reproduced before for the good of his former clan but he derived little pleasure from it and considered it a duty. Upon meeting Wisp however, Sunspot was thrown into somewhat of turmoil as he had such little experience in these matters and Wisp was so much younger than him. It took Wisp finally making a move for Sunspot to finally act on his feelings. His relationship with Wisp's other partner Quartz is a strong one based on trust and a mutual frustration with how idealistic Wisp can be. They all ground and elevate each other and truly are the best leaders this clan could hope for.
