Lance is a member of Team Voltron and works under Shiro, whom he respects a lot. He is best friends with Hunk and often gets him to join him on something stupid... such as hiding Keith's belongings, or sneaking towards Zarkon to see what he's up to. He wanders around, exploring the area far off the Lair and sometimes meets other dragons as well.

When these dragons are female, he will do his best to show his charm to win them over, but it rarely works...

He is Keith's self-proclaimed rival, although Keith doesn't even really notice this. But apart from their rivalry, they slowly get along better and better even though Keith never stops mentioning how he often has to save him from one of his adventures.
