Prudence is a kind, yet stern soul. She can get quite serious about the gardens and plants that she tends around the Territory. But if you need healing, you go to Prudence. She will treat you with the utmost care, and make sure you get time off from your duties to heal, especially if you get physically injured. She loves her job more than anything, and she delights in helping every dragon, of all shapes, sizes, and colors. And while she understands fighting is necessary, she tries to discourage it when she can.

Prudence came from the Fire Element Territories, specifically the Flintlock Fumaroles, where no plants grew. She was raised in a crevice in the earth, wrapped in volcanic ash and toxic gases. She hatched in a pretty typical family with a few other siblings in her clutch. But while everyone loved the ash and lava around her, she would stare off into the distance at the nearby Millmeadows. The trace of the sweet smell of grass when the wind changed directions, blowing away the acrid smell of smoke for a moment. She would dream of what it felt like, unlike the always-shifting land of the Fire Element Territories. So when she became an adult, she left her family's nest, and flew towards the border, clambering up the steep cliff of Millmeadows. From there, she would travel around, learning from herbalists and gardeners about plants.

She considers it a blessing that she was allowed to step outside the fiery home she was raised in. When she wandered into Shadow Element Territory, she would meet Orpheus while he was out meditating by a pond. She would join him for lunch and the two would swap information and things they knew back and forth. While Orpheus was in his 40s, she was a decade younger than him, he was deeply impressed by her dedication to healing and biology. He invited her back to the clan, where they were just beginning to gather around the temple. She was one of few, and spent a few days helping and healing the ones who needed it. While she was not done traveling yet, she left them with some healing herbs to use before she came back.

Prudence traveled north, and spent a few months in the Colonnades of Antiquity, looking up at the Pillar of the World and praying to the deities. It was one night there that she had a dream of a shining deck of cards surrounded by a great garden of flowers of all kinds, colors, and sizes. From there, she felt a calling back in the Shadow territory, at the heart of the mysterious temple. She packed and left immediately, flying back towards the temple. She didn't even ask Orpheus, but started carving out a nest for herself, and a place to store her herbs, which is how she bumped into her close friend Tangerine.

Prudence became the resident healer, tending to her plants and the guards who valiantly protected them. She continued her research of plants in her free time, and came to be the closest of friends with Tangerine. She was given her own deck of tarot cards, filled with divine plant iconography she uses to judge the weather and seasons.
