Briar
Nest-Tender of the Burning Rose

Nana Briar is old -- at least as old as the Realm of the Burning Rose. She can tell you anything about its history in extensive detail. In fact, she will tell you if you show even the smallest sign of being a guest... unless you somehow manage the impossible task of asking her to keep it brief without getting reprimanded.

She is not only known for recounting the Realm's history. Nana Briar herself has had a long and complicated relationship with the world, with her magic, and with the males that walked in and out of her life -- and she's willing to tell you all about it! In fact, many dragons will come to her specifically to hear Nana Briar tell another piece of her story. She speaks with such a dry tone of voice and often will make a sharp turn in her tale; her deadpan humor has earned local acclaim.

Nowadays she will occasionally sire a nest with Oneiro, but as the Nest-Tender, she prefers to watch over the young hatchlings rather than contribute to their population. It prides her to know she helped them grow up well.

That, and she's a Snapper, so it's not like she needs sleep anyway.
