Zeypher is a rather curious fellow who prefers the company of familiars to most dragons. His personal familiar is a Thornthick Thief named Birch, who usually trails him into the woods on his daily ventures.

Aside from an occasional meeting with Echidna or Wolfbane, Zeypher conducts most of his research alone. He enjoys studying the unique flora and fauna that make up the Starwood Strand. He possesses numerous journals filled with sketches and notes on his findings.

Zeypher enjoys his time in the woods, and surely has much more left to study, but the prospect of changing Flights still remains in the back of his mind. The idea of studying other lands intrigues him, and has even considered joining Noricet on one of his secret journeys to the Fire Flight, but after seeing the effect that the fiery environment had on poor Noricet, he has wisely decided against it.

He is the mate to our clan Beta, Mardak, whom he loves very much. On a rare occasion, when she isn't barking at young dragons in training to work harder, Mardak will sometimes accompany him on walks along the treeline, but never very deep into the foreboding woods.

Seek out Zeypher's company if you ever wish for a lecture on botany or a status report on the familiar populations within the Starwood Strand.
