Biography

Seraph

Seraph had everything, kind parents, a family to return home to, skills that kept him able to provide for themselves. And in an instant, it was all gone.

Rue exiled father and son, a consequence of their own lack of ability to protect their own families. They had brought a great danger to the clan, while it was their own family, it could not be helped that the rules were definite. They had endangered the clan, caused the deaths of many, and had failed to prove themselves before the guild leaders.

With nothing but their skills, they eventually found themselves using their skills in fighting rings. They were caught and bought, made to serve or suffer the consequences. They spent many years in this manner, tossed around for entertainment, killing large beasts and bringing claw and blade down against their foes. It was tiring, exhausting, disgusting. But they had been bought, they could do nothing else but serve. One day however, he appeared.

It was a day like any other, the seventh day of the week, challenger day. On this day people from outside the ring could sign up to fight, many challengers would come forward for the timed trials. The longer one could put up a fight against a certain opponent, the more rewards there would be. There was never the thought that someone could defeat one of the best fighters, and such it was unnecessary to win, this kept people participating.

Seraph and Cosmos were currently the reigning champions, no one had stood a chance against them, not even a few minutes. So when a young, small and naive looking spiral walked out onto the stage, everyone was baffled. The surprise quickly turned to outbursts of mirth and they saw him pick to fight Seraph and Cosmos, together.

His right eye had a crude half mask covering his eye, but the one peeping eye was bright and excited. From within their chambers the father and son duo heard the laughter, and felt sad. They would have to crush this young impressionable child, there could be no mercy. But who would've thought it would turn out this way.

Cosmos barely stood by supporting himself on a broken pillar. Seraph lay prone on the ground, his body tired and beaten. The blue hair of the boy before him swayed in the wind, dust settled all around them as his blade lowered from before him. Three days, they had fought for three days with no end. And yet this little spiral showed no sign of fatigue. Setting his sword in his belt he crouched down next to Seraph, in this state, he could most certainly kill him, and reap that fabled reward none thought possible.

However death never came, a hand came down to grab his own, and Seraph opened his eyes to see a sparkling set of eyes once again, but now, there was no mask. The sparkling blue eyes contrasted the purple black lines circling the right side of his face. The boy held his hand close to his chest and leaned in, face not far from his, he smiled and asked him, "Would you like to be free?"

From the day of his freedom, to present, Seraph has dedicated his entire life to Titus. While Titus may only be a few years younger than him, his aura is that of a leader, but that is not all the Seraph sees. Titus saved them, pulled them from their mundane life of nothing but battle for the gratification of others.

Seraph can often be found near or behind Titus, he is one of his most loyal guards and does any task Titus asks of him. The feeling of family that he once lost, he has found again, and he won't lose it again.
