Description:

Keiji is Moraine's faithful assistant in Florabrisa's bustling kitchen, bringing her whatever ingredients she needs for her confections (and maybe getting to lick the spoon every so often!) Keiji hopes to one day be as skilled a cook as her. His cat Allie, who he takes care of himself, helps keep pests away from the kitchen area.

Keiji is a literature nerd and often reads poetry in his spare time. He's a bit of wordsmith himself, and has helped Moraine with writing cookbooks alongside writing his own poetry, ranging from love ballads to deep think-pieces. He's recently started dating Ardest, the new artist in town, who also serves as a creative inspiration for his poetry. As Ardest has trouble reading and writing, Keiji also helps him with creating names and descriptions for his art displays in Crystalspirit's gallery.

Keiji tends to be reserved, and though generally well-liked by everyone thanks to his sweet demeanor, he always had a little trouble fitting in with other kids growing up. He has chronic joint pain and could never stand to get involved with roughhousing and has had many days where he can't do much at all.

He has naturally cold breath. Useful for cooling a lukewarm drink, but has accidentally ruined many cups of hot chocolate.

Background:
Keiji's parents Mooncure and Spiritdawn were very close friends with Tarragon and Moraine, and intended to move to Florabrisa to raise him there. However, before they could get their plans set, Mooncure and Spiritdawn died in an unexpectedly large ice storm, leaving Keiji an orphan. Keiji was sent to Florabrisa, where he grew up under the care of Tarragon and Moraine, who gave him all the love and care he deserved, and raised him like a son alongside their daughters, though they could never quite bring themselves to claim the titles of his mom and dad.

Favorites:
Keiji, though shy, is a romantic at heart and likes writing poetry, both cheesy and darker depending on his mood. He's a rather private dragon and usually keeps his writings to himself. He has a big love for literature in general and participates in Lisianthus's book club with Moraine.

Keiji has a large sweet tooth and can rarely resist good dessert. With his passion for baked goods, Moraine enlisted him to help her in the kitchen from a young age, and Keiji is quite happy to be a taste tester. More recently, he's gotten more experimental on his own with cuisine, and has been working with meat so he can make meals for his new mirror boyfriend.

Appearance:
Keiji is a very short and very fat tundra (friend shaped) who has an impressive wingspan and a short, thick tail. He has small, pointy ears and antler-like horns. He keeps the top of his mane short for easier hat-wearing. With his icy-colored fur, he would be well-suited for life in the snowy Cloudscrape Crags, where his parents had were from.

Keiji likes wearing soft and comfortable clothes, often wearing fun-patterned hand-me-down sweaters given to him from Moraine. His style is a bit androgynous, leaning feminine, though he enjoys mixing things up sometimes. He often decorates himself with pink and purple accessories and generally sticks to cool colors. He has astigmatism and wears thick glasses.
