16468.png Taken along with his parents on hunts for emperors, Iris was exposed to death and undeath at an early age. He assisted his parents in exorcising the fearsome beasts' souls, allowing them to pass on despite the body still rampaging across the land. But Iris wondered if maybe this wasn't the way to go about it. Sure, the emperor's souls were okay, but he wondered how to prevent the souls in the first place. It was then, after talking to his father about how the adventures got started that Iris began attacking the root of the problem.
Iris began targeting beastclans that were known to create princes, baby emperors. He found the clans by talking to dead spirits, though he learned to take their advice with a grain of salt. One imperial ghost was so set on revenge, she sent him to attack innocent villagers. He exorcised her, after he realized she was wrong. It was a hard lesson learned, and he still feels guilty for destroying the clan. He considers himself lucky he hasn't been hunted down for it, yet. 7104.png
3054.png Iris is very careful now, investigating the ghost's claims before taking action, often needing confirmation from other ghosts before he decides to wipe a village out. But if he does find out a village has created a prince, either accidentally or through a "pit", he is merciless, destroying anything old enough to understand how to create an emperor. Anyone else is given to a village he deems safe. He now travels for a home base, where he can store what he finds, and finally have a steady place to lay his weary head to rest, don't you cry no more.
