Many names for the same dragon. Many names to put the same burden on her lone shoulders. Ember was the last daughter born to a line of priests and acolytes protecting the same holy site - the untouched, undying flame on the top of a large mountain called Mother’s Fang. The beacon that was lighted at its peak housed a large guiding fire for any and all travelers. And it was said to be infused with the Flamecaller’s essence.

Something that valuable needed protection. And her clan, once a large family of dozens of different dragons, made it their honorable calling in life to provide for its safety. But many years have passed since then and today all there is left is Ember. The last of her kind. A solitary spark in the night.
