Samen

Present:
"Warden says it's good for me to document myself. So here we go. I Was Dels. A Coatl. Which makes sense Warden says with how she found me. I was groomed to be the next leader of the Shadow Flight Shada Septem. But many things transpired that I will now remember. But that is memory, it is not the today.
Today, yesterday and tomorrows into the everbloom I am Samen. I was a Fae, and I remember now how it happened. I would not be here today if it weren't for the Family that I raised, and the Clan that backed me. Today I became a Pearlcatcher. I fell to the ground and had writhed in pain. I hurt all over, so so badly...I passed out. Warden says I was out for two days, hiding in the little treesap nest. In a state of delirium I scrambled away into it to hide. And she watched with concern as it grew larger and started popping. Breaking. Then I fell out, a few hours ago. Even as I'm writing one of the fins that I had gotten used to speaking with has fallen beside me, shriveled and shrunken like a perversion of a leaf, no longer useful.
This pearl of mine. I guess it triggered memories. Or maybe before the fall and change I remembered, and it triggered my metamorphosis. My pearl isn't as I have seen others. It has an ashy-pink hue. It swirls and tumbles inside, like smoke in a bubble. My memories. It helps me remember. I guess I'm glad that I do.."

History:
"I don't HUM, why do I keep trying!" His crests flipping wildly in his obvious agitation. This alone was too much exercise after having an Episode. Exhausted he curls up once more around a head spike of Warden's.

Warden tells him that he was given to her by the wastes of the Plague Lands and that in his state he was going on and on about Noctures and some Shadow Clan. How everyone was being wiped out, or brought to their side. He often mumbles "Seven Shadows". He was in a pile of feathers and clothing that was much too large for him. Big enough, perhaps, for a Coatl. She knew he was her Ward. Hers to protect, and let him name her. In his wildness of delirium he simply called her Warden. Now he sits atop her massive head as they rove the Labyrinth.

"I'm looking for...for...something? someone...I knew someone. I knew someone Warden I..." lost again. Sleeping. Calm until his Night terrors take him again.

They search. They wander. Samen and Warden. Seed and Watcher...
