Similar to Bloodfester, Quill is a jerk. She takes what she wants, does what she wants, and doesn't care who she inconveniences in the process. What goes around comes around, however, and Quill is currently laying low in the Mistral Precinct until things blow over.
She isn't the friendly type, and the neighborly-ness of the Mistral Precinct is difficult for her to adapt to. She isn't cruel to them, but behaves only the bare minimum to keep them from kicking her out.
The only person Quill can get along with is Bloodfester, who is about as out of place in the Precinct as she is. Bloodfester, however, has been here much longer, and has at least somewhat adapted to the small-town kindness. While Bloodfester does not and can not feel romantic feelings in the classic sense, she still accepted Quill's advances. They've been an item ever since.
