Born in the nature realm, Gwydion has never left this region and never wants to. He is the founder of his clan in the Gladeveins and has made many friends as dragons come and go. With his funny, charismatic charm, he welcomes every dragon that makes its residence here.

He has loved three dragons in his life. The first, Kamala, helped him found the clan, and they had three children together. However, Kamala's reserved nature led to a fading spark and they eventually broke off romantic ties but remain friends. Not long after, Gwydion fell for a guardian named Hivia, with whom he had five children. They happily raised their offspring together, but Hivia decided she wasn't interested in more. She eventually moved on to serve the Gladekeeper. Gwydion's most recent mate is the ridgeback Reyna. She tolerates his occasional annoying flaws, and he finds her cooling presence refreshing.

Being a bit narcissistic, Gwydion is proud of appearance, yet he wants to improve it. He wishes a gaoler would teach him how to braid his fur. He attempted it without instruction, and the results were disastrous. He doesn't wear clothes so that he can show off his lovely nature colors.

Wanting a more meaningful purpose for his clan, Gwydion decided to start a hatchery. He loves playing matchmaker, and he loves pretty dragons. He hopes the hatchlings born in his clan will find good clans in which to start their own adventures.
