Solidified Sludge - - - ⦻ LINEAGE
Aswa's father was a shining, stuttering fop. Her mother was a dark monk and dogged pursuer. Both she and her brother, Drac take after their mother in appearance. From the mixture of dark and light, another contrast was born- Aswa has the cool colours of the darkness and frost, while her brother is the opposite. They look like siblings of muted fire and ice, and they get along just as well.

Aswa was born and raised in a primitive territory in the Scarred Wasteland. Spending every day in the glow of the menacing Wyrmwound, she lived the life of a Plague dragon- scavenging through rot, fighting off raids from outsiders, wondering if the next meal would come or if she'd be on the menu. The survival-of-the-fittest mentality shaped her young mind like a virus infecting the brain.

And the one who was by her side every day was her brother, Drac. But if she could switch him for someone else in the tribe, she'd take anyone. Perhaps a product of being siblings, or possibly an echoed taunt from their hatchling days, Aswa and Drac implicitly declared each other as their rival in everything- who had the best singing voice, who could make the other scream first, who could eat the most in one mouthful- challenges of every kind to compare their developing selves.

Of course, Aswa could beat him at anything- her claws were sharper, her body larger, more nimble, and not to mention, more intelligent. Nothing has changed since childhood, and the grown Nocturnes are still at it to this day.

Aswa says she hates him, but she may be just parroting words he spoke to her as a child.
Duskthicket Bonepicker - - - - ⦻ PERSONALITY
She is quite competitive, though she may not use fair methods to win. Whether it's cheating or not, she still believes it's valid- an accomplishment is an accomplishment, no matter how you got it.

In fact, she sees those that place and enforce rules to keep things 'fair' as cheaters- dragons who are too weak to prove themselves without handicapping the competition, ones who make up regulations that benefit only a few. You can't scratch the eyes during a duel? That just excludes all the smaller dragons who can't use brute strength. A battle of wits with no physical contact? That just excludes those who haven't strengthened their mind.

To show true prowess, one should be able to use every asset they can. After all, there are no rules in life to stop an enemy from tearing you apart.

And if you can't beat another without setting up restrictions, then you are as good as dead to Aswa.
