✧⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯Sinaj was born in forest glade. She was alone but not scared. The warm sun flit in through the treetops and she felt at home in the nature surrounding her. For a while after her hatching, she laid in the sun and listened. The trees were calming and the wildlife all around sang to her. After a while, she got up to find food for herself. There was no evidence that she had hatched from an egg, or that any other dragon had some around her area of the forest in a while. The glade was surrounded by lush plants that were edible and easily obtainable by a hatchling such as herself. Although she is unsure of the nature of her being, she grew to find that she was much different from other dragons. Most of her childhood was spent in the glade until she was old enough to venture out on her own and have a chance at surviving. Wandering around the singing forests, she sang back. Together, they made beautiful music and it was through this singing that Sinaj found that she had powerful nature magic. Beautiful plants grew around her. At first, she couldn't control them so easily, and often they grew out of her control, but after some practice, she could make the plants and nature bend to her will. Later Sinaj would find that her natural affinity for magic was unnatural. Many other dragons had to work to be able to use magic at all if they even had the ability while it had just come to Sinaj in her travels. There was also the fact that she didn't seem to need to eat as often as others, the elements hardly affected her, and if injured, her wounds healed much faster than other beings. For a long while, Sinaj spent her days traveling. She didn't stay in once place for very long and traveled around to all the different territories, learning all that she could about the world around her. Along the way, she met Teatree and the two of them traveled, singing together. She is unsure still if Teatree is an actual bird or some astral being of some kind. The bird has lived much longer than birds of her species, but it is also possible that Sinaj's presence has elongated the bird's life. Sinaj is unsure because she has never stuck with one being for as long as she has with Teatree. Among the places she traveled, plague was the least friendly of her, and ice was the most welcoming. While in plague many dragons disliked her particular magic use, in ice they welcomed it, though it was hard to keep anything living for very long, many of the dragons there adored her plants in the otherwise baron icy tundras. Many times in ice, dragons find themselves in over their heads during the winter, underestimating how ruthless it could be. Sinaj had done just that, and Grimm's clan was the closest and friendliest clan around. Although she might have survived on her own, over the winter she took shelter there. over their time together, the friendly clan quickly gained her trust and Sinaj felt more and more part of the clan. When winter passed and Sinaj could once again safely leave ice, she left. But as she traveled farther away, she found herself being pulled back to Grimm's clan. Upon her return, she was welcomed back gladly and she now has a permanent residence there. While in the clan, Sinaj started to grow plants around her area of the lair. She thought it might come as an annoyance if she were to grow anything in anyone else's spots, but soon some of the other clan members were coming to her, asking her to grow some plants for them, some of them specific plants. Since many of the other dragons had come from different flights, they wanted a bit of their past homes. Soon, most of the lair was covered in plants, all varying in different types and colors. Sinaj keeps them all maintained, and they are also very receptive to her current state. If she were ever injured or sick, the plants might wilt and die off slowly until she is better. The clan is quick to make sure she is feeling better as quick as possible. Other than maintain plants around the lair, Sinaj does many other things within the clan. Since she is very personable, she is often helping Grimm with clan relations. She is also one of the stronger protectors of the clan alongside Mercutio and Feiyofan. Not to mention, many of the clan's familiars gather around her area of the lair since it has the most lush plantlife, and she is often times caring for and feeding them too. She does not complain though, since she prefers having so much to do. Help is always welcome though. |
