Born into a cult in the middle of the desert, Dust never knew much about the outside world as she was growing up. But the occasional caravan would come through the cult's territory, and her mother would bring Dust along as she bought materials and seeds. The young dragon wasn't so much interested in the stories of the cities beyond their territory as she was in the people that were a part of the caravan -- especially the beautiful women who dressed in silk and smelled like heady spices. Her desire to be around these kinds of women won out over her familial ties, and she left home to pursue the caravans and their sweet scents and mysterious matriarchs.
