Biography

Shadow Dragons are a valued resource in the Tangle Woods, and any dragons which are capable of becoming one is considered an honor to their clan and is welcome anywhere under Shadow control. Their job is considered a meaningful, as it involves weaving shadows together and tracking their path through the dark Tangled Woods.

The job is physically demanding, often involving dragons to work for days on end hiking and weaving the shadows into a form that would please their deity the most, but most dragons find the experience a reward in and off itself. Over the course of the years it has developed into an art form, and it's not unusual for a group of them to hold a contest to see who can weave the shadows in either the most efficient or the most visually pleasing manner.

They each bear the distinctive marks on their bodies, as it's impossible to get so close to the abyss without feeling it's touch. It's a mark of pride among them, but can also be a cause of sorrow as they remember those who did not survive their first wondering.

Lycaena was not a dragon who was ment to stay within the clan. She was found injured and by herself so the clan took her in and decided to let her stay until she was fully healed. But then she just never left. She wasn't planning on staying but before she knew it she was an active dragon in the community with children. All of her children eventually leave but she can't say the same for herself. She enjoys the life she has now and has no intrest in leaving anytime soon, not that anyone has a problem with that.

Lycaena isn't soft spoken and knows how desirable her traits are and enjoys flaunting her glimmering beauty.

Lycaena is frienemeies with another Fae by the name Junko. They silently compete against eachother over anything and everything.

One thing that sparks animosity towards her is the simple fact that despite being in a Shadow clan, she embraces her Nature Element to the point that she is a master in her field.
