Neurotic, jumpy and easily distressed, Bee is incapable of feeling anything halfway. He has a tendency to panic under pressure, and sometimes clashes with Wisp due to her unrelenting standards for perfection, although Wisp secretly counts him as one of her closest friends. While his nervous tendencies get him into trouble more frequently than he'd like, he's also lucky enough to usually manage to find a way out of the trouble. It helps that he has those who would fight by his side faithully. Despite his panicky exterior, Bee would move the stars and moon for his mate and children, and even the thought of someone hurting any of them is enough to send him into a rage that would make the greatest warriors tremble. When he met Hypatia, it was love at first sight, and he knew he would do anything for her--and the same for their children, when they hatched. The only difficulty: the two dragons were from different clans, and had met only by random chance. Not willing to give up on his chance at a happy ending, Bee encouraged Hypatia to travel with him in search of a place where they could be together and raise their eggs in peace. That place came in the form of a prickly Mirror engineer and her tiny robotic charge. Bee works as the Oasis Corporation's chief supplier--he is in charge of leading gathering teams and making sure the hoard is well stocked at all times. His son, Riptide, is learning to follow in his footsteps, although, ironically, the areas they each excel at don't fit their appetite in terms of meals. Where Bee finds peace in collecting plants, Riptide is energized by the thrill of the hunt. Perhaps the drive to fulfill their clanmates' tastes is reward enough for them both. Bee is constantly endeavoring to better himself, desiring to make himself someone Hypatia and his children (and perhaps Wisp too) can be proud of. Though he knows he'll always be rather out of place in the high-stakes, modernized, fast paced environment of the Oasis Corporation, there's nowhere else he'd rather be, seeing as he supervised its creation more or less from the ground up.
