"A thousand pardons, love, but there's a... prior commitment that I simply must attend to." You might be wondering what business a fae would have with such a dramatic set of choppers, to which a comrade would remind you that SOME insects have decidedly thick carapaces, and it is RUDE to judge people based upon their dentistry. Attention to attire seems to be a favored pastime of this dragon, given her ensemble. No expense has been spared to keep her draped in the finest of threads, studded with the most fashionable accessories, and brandishing the most striking set of fans. Yet, for all of her flair, there isn't actually anything to identify her handy - not a clan emblem or insignia, no papers, no notable heirlooms hanging from her neck. All any witnesses can really comment on is her style, her pallid hue, those fangs and tattered fins, and the fact that her fingers are always so very cold.

By day, Dometti is a bit of a shut-in. Rare is the dragon who claims to have seen her step out into the sunlight. By night, however, she's quite the social butterfly, flitting from one engagement to the next, frequenting the fancy party scene with practiced and confident style. Those more familiar with her medical condition might accuse her of being a hedonist, always out on the prowl for potential victims, but that couldn't be further from the truth. As far as shade-infested, vampiric dragons go, Dometti is actually very careful in terms of her feeding routine, and has immaculate table manners. In fact, the few people she cares to drain are those who have given her consent and are trusted not to go blabbing to the panicky masses about that whole... being undead thing. Requesting permission is a courtesy she wishes she had been given when first afflicted, but half the trouble with her fellow semi-deceased folk is that so many of them get rather drunk on pseudo-immortality and decide to take liberties. Which is where Dometti's more... militant side comes out. As much as she loves to attend a fancy soiree, Dometti spends a great deal of her time tracking rumors and shady activity in order to make certain that other undead beings aren't causing too much ruckus. Power-mad liches, vampire warlords, and necromancer covens are the sorts of things that often result in either mob justice or hiring of adventurers, and neither group is prone to sorting out the troublemakers from those undead who are just trying to go through their unlife in relative peace. To maintain her well-preserved hide, Dometti does her best to bring those upstarts to heel, whether through logic (less successful) or a little wanton violence (the norm). It would be tiring work, but it's not like she actually needs to sleep. |
