Blending in remarkably well with the dim lighting and flora of the surrounding forest, this dragon almost feels unreal, like you've simply dreamed her up in an attempt to break the loneliness that comes with being lost in a bog. Granted, in a world where magic is the norm, who's to say that you haven't stumbled across a benevolent water spirit?

Unaffiliated with Clan Ith, Edugi is a wanderer who has a habit of fortuitously appearing when someone has managed to lose their way. With a calm smile and a beckoning hand, she takes these travelers to where they need to be - which doesn’t always sync up with where they want to be. Many wyrms have found themselves left at the doorsteps of unfamiliar clans in foreign flights after accepting Edugi’s guidance, although none can argue that she has failed to take them home. The path is muddled and time blurs together, whether walking through the woods or riding her driftwood raft. Some dragons take Edugi’s hand only to find that years have passed by the time she has left them at their new home. None ever seem able to remember the time they’ve spent abroad. Rare is the dragon who has seen Edugi more than once. If anything, many assume her to be little more than folklore, a will-o-the-wisp whose distractions ended well. |
