Carlin: Little Champion
Carlin was sent away from her parents in the Tsunami Flats when she was just a baby, for reasons still unknown. After wandering north for what seemed like an infinite amount of time, the scared and battered young imperial encountered Theta, the then just recently turned monarch of the clan, surveying the border between the Sea of a Thousand Currents and the Tangled Wood. She fetched Carlin into the clan and invited her to stay. The frightened imperial remembered that Shadow dragons were known as tricksters and was hesitant at first, but after staying with Theta's clan for several weeks, she learned that many of them were not in fact malevolent. She finally agreed to join the clan, and Theta invited her to take on the ruling role of one of her closest advisers.
