[name] got his mother’s gembond, but it’s lighter than most, providing significantly less of an encumbrance to him than it does her. As such, [name] is actually free to fly rather than being bound to the ocean his entire life. It shouldn’t have been possible in the first place, as his mother was bitten rather than born with it, but his entire clutch defies expectations.

[name] has a gift with stone instead of water; the sea that his parents call home has never made all that much sense to him, though he has the Tidelord’s Blessing and will never want for breath. Crystals sing to him in a way the ocean never has, though, and he finds that shaping it comes easily to his claws. He grew more practiced with this over time, and these days he’s rather handy with crafting little charms, anything from cute trinkets to protective talismans, out of stone and crystal.
