✘✘✘ Amethyst is a doctor, perhaps one of the most passionate you could ever meet. She is friendly and caring, but her eyes belie a sombreness that she tries to pass off as concentration on her work. As a young dragon, Amethyst wanted to be a fighter. She practiced against other hatchlings, wrestled older dragon’s tails, and bounced around the fighters of the clan, begging them to take her out with them. Eventually she came of age, and she got her wish.

Trotting along with her head held high, she followed along on a routine task to scout the clan’s border. As the trio approached the edge of a forest, she heard faint sounds in the distance. The two fighters with her glanced at one another. “Go home, this is unsafe!” one hissed at her before they both bounded towards the sound. Excited, she followed them, right into absolute carnage.

A field of red lay before her. Bodies lay entangled, Centauri and Dragonkind alike. Some groaned or cried, others lay still. The two parties still clashed, spears and arrows tearing through wing membranes, powerful jaws crunching hooved legs. The sound wrenched hear heart and the smell was sickening. Her head spun.

So this was fighting. This is what she had idolised her whole life.

She swore then and there that she would dedicate herself to healing, and give help to anyone who needed it, no matter what kind of creature they were. The world didn’t need pain like this. Years have passed since then. The memories have faded to occasional nightmares, and Amethyst is a beautiful, educated, passionate young Snapper. Independent and courageous, she rushes to the scene of any tragedy that wracks Sornieth, lending her aid to the wounded without regard for borders or allegiances.
