Biography
Status: Resident
Joined the clan as an Eternally Youthful Bogsneak.
Quasar's egg had been passed around in trade for some time before landing in the laboratory. This place of science was one of the many belonging to a clan of dragons residing in Lightning territory.
Dragon eggs still hold many mysteries to dragonkind, and had become quite a compelling area of research for lack of data. This new egg was subject to many experimental technologies, drugs and magical applications.
Though they poked and prodded, injected, irradiated and exposed a dragon's egg to many hazardous things, this clan were not in the habit of throwing compassion aside - they had simply been mistaken about the egg's viability.
It had been sold to the Lightning clan by a beastclan merchant as a far-gone piece of scavenge, "dead" from "egg rot", and the egg certainly looked the part when they received it; it was marred with cracks all across the delicate shell and a dull grayish blotch obscured the center.
However...
One day, this egg hatched. The science team were perplexed and horrified at the implications of what they'd done to this poor child via the numerous potentially dangerous tests it had been subjected to.
Luckily for everyone involved, there seemed to be no permanent damage to the hatchling, though Quasar thrived in the clan and matured in mind and spirit... his form never did grow into an adult dragon.
