Bio - Virya was born into a large and noble clan of high Arcane scholars and mages. Many generations of great mages studied within and discovered huge feats in Arcaneology. Their reputation guarded them from many things but they weren't immune to controversy. Within their walls, some mages would also study transformative magic, which was known to be particularly volatile and dangerous. Although this was usually veiled in secrecy, some dabbled openly and proudly. Virya herself was one to study transformative magics, however back then she went under a different name. Her clan eventually met an unfortunate and abrupt demise and she fled Arcane territory for fear of being blamed for the act. She donned a new name and followed an old rumor of an ancient shadow clan also using transformative magic. Virya hoped that maybe with less eyes on her, she could perfect her technique. The journey within Shadow territory was met with many trials and tribulations. Virya eventually met the matriarchal leader Zeria of the ancient shadow clan and introduced her to Arcane transformation magics using pink chalcedony. The rumors were true- this clan was using transformative magics, but instead it was using the Moon's cycles which was seemingly natural to this clan of Pearlcatchers. The introduction of pink chalcedony not only made Pearlcatchers not of Shadow-Origin susceptible to the Moon's phases, but enhanced its effects. This is not without risk, however. Prolonged use of Pink Chalcedony for non-Arcane dragons can be detrimental. Many years have passed, and Virya took the matriarchal role of clan leader after being mated to Prajna, Zeria's only surviving heir. In current times, she and clan of Nightlune Hold swear themselves to Shadowbinder, her Moon and the transformative effects it has on their body and pearl. They also seek to teach their magics to any those willing to join the ranks of Cryptic Nighttide and the Shadowbinder. Physical Characteristics - Virya is a larger-than-average Pearlcatcher in both length and wingspan with a bulky build. She has short forearms and longer back legs with three fingers and a thumb on each limb. While her on-site genes change frequently, her canon genes are stylized savannah/safari with underbelly. Virya's mane can appear like the ref below, or longer and with braids like ghostly kelpie mane with bits of light grey/silver. In current cannon timeline, she would appear to be aged more than most dragons, such as slight wrinkles around her eyes and mouth. Virya's eyes are different colours as she has complete heterochromia iridum. Her left eye being purple like that of a Shadow dragon while her right eye is Arcane pink like her birthplace suggests.
