Much more of an animal lover than a lover of other people, Kestrel can usually be found outside or wherever the animals are. A vegetarian but understanding of those who choose or need to eat meat, Kestrel makes his own meals from fruits, vegetables, leaves, and roots. He is a talented chef and knows how to make his meals tasty with spices and seasonings, so even non-vegetarians enjoy his meal if they can handle the flavors. What truly makes him more than a talented chef however is his bond with birds. Hawks, eagles and his namesake kestrels especially are quite fond of him and he can use them to scout, perform blitz attacks, carry messages and small packages, and other vital tasks to his clan. When it comes to his magic, he truly becomes devastating to his foes.

Kestrel knows many spells and he can use them and his birds to drastic effect. Without putting himself at risk, he can see through a bird's eyes and scout out enemy locations for his own army's intelligence needs. He can also cast magic through his birds, raining down fire or casting illusions among other various nasty effects. If one of his birds is in trouble, he can also teleport it and other small animals back to his loving arms. Normally quite friendly and exuberant, one doesn't make a quicker enemy than harming one of Kestrel's animals.
