Roanne

Alchemist
An alchemist can transmute base metals into more popular, more important ones such as gold. They can purify, mature, and perfect certain objects. She also produces potions, another skill she's good at. She receives her funding from the clan so long as she creates potions and perfects objects that benefit the clan.

Roanne is the alchemist of the clan. She's knowledgeable from everything from alchemy to potions and is thus one of the clan's most powerful assets. She buries her emotions underneath her work.

Origin Story

No one really remembers how Roanne got into the clan, but what they do know is that she's been here for a long, long time.

Roanne lived next to the Lavaburst Lair during their time in the Ashfall Waste in a cave with her father. Her mother had left shortly after laying her egg, which caused them to relocate to the domain of fire.

He was always sick, but Roanne learned how to take care of him when she was a hatchling and got better from them. Besides kind words and genuine advice, her father taught her alchemy, as he was a master of the craft himself.

Her father enrolled her in the Lavaburst Clan's school, where she learned magic, self defense, draconian and how to create potions. This is where she met her close friends Morbid, Ferron, and Dante. They grew up together.

When she was around a teenager, the two would be attacked by an Imperial. Her father would die to a snapped neck, but Roanne survived by driving a spear into the Imperial's eye, which went right through to his brain and kill him. She kept a reminder of her father. His tools. She decided she would take on his work as an alchemist, but hated living alone.

Roanne was brought forth before the Board of Superiors, currently small and growing, where she asked to join the Lavaburst Clan. When asked what she could offer the clan, she told them she could become their first alchemist. She was accepted.

Shortly after, the clan moved to the Sunbeam Ruins and she would become the clan's resident Plague representative. Now part of the Lavaburst Clan, she was closer than ever with Dante, Ferron and Morbid. The four would hang out a lot, particularly during their school years. They would still make efforts to meet each other as they grew older and their jobs proved harder.

In the clan's new home, Roanne would build up the Alchemists' Area from the ground up without help of the architect, she refused it, and gathered a plethora of different materials. All of this was done alone. This is how it always will be, and how she will do thing.s

Potions
Though excelling and her main skill being in alchemy, Roanne took up a class on potions in the academy and got better from there. It's a way to gain extra treasure and she doesn't really care who these are sold to. Deja sells them for her. She gets 75% back.

Negative Effects
Mixture of Malady- A sickness-inducing concoction. It looks as red and thick as blood. It's made from Fungalhoof Qiriq horns, oozing tusks, and the venom of a Crystalplate Stinger.

Brew of the Baffled - A small vial filled with liquid that can cause hallucinations by those who consume it. It's a translucent soft blue and takes on a dark sheen in the daylight. It's made from the poison of banded dart frogs, river muck, mycena mushrooms, and mimic powder.

Sleep Inducer - This brew contains a lot of blue entoloma and featherback pelt. It's a dark navy blue, so dark some would think its black.

Positive Effects
Tonic of Tranquility - A bottle filled with soft blue liquid. It's meant to soothe the muscles and mind. It works. It contains blue entoloma, unicorn dust, river muck, and hallowed ivy. It looks very, very similar to Brew of the Baffled. This is why it's important to label things!

Efficiency Elixir - A bottle filled with a liquid colored the same as the eyes of Lightning dragons. It's meant to act as an energy drink, or something to reinvigorate you. It's made with leftover residue, unicorn dust, and glowing tails.

Celestial Concentrate - A flask filled with a bright glowing green substance. It enhances one's strength and speed and magical abilities for a time. It contains mashed up scales from a balloon belly magi, micromoth and some jar of slime. When consumed, dragons say they feel incredibly powerful and a surge of pride. However, it tastes fricking horrible.

Water-Breathing - For a time, the dragon will be able to breathe underwater. Of course, this has no effect on water dragons. It contains carpenter wax, reefsnail eggs, wrinkled azurescales, and glowing tail. Adding more of these ingredients increases the duration. 5 of each makes the potion last for 24 hours. It's a light, transparent blue like what you would see in a tropical getaway and tastes salty. Glowing tail is optional, but it's near necessary because it lets the dragon see in the dark depths of the ocean or wherever.
