Galatea
One of two eggs brought into the clan after Baldwin's discovery of the Bogsneak breed, Pygmalion was the first, hatching with an affinity for alchemy that allowed him, even as a hatchling, to help brew up the second Bogsneak egg. When she hatched, she was perfect, and Pygmalion loved her. Galatea was less interested, going her own path, but Pygmalion kept watch over her as he continued to brew. He gifted his creation with new magic, giving the gems and scrolls and treasure that Karou needed to form new bodies for Galatea, new forms, making her more and more beautiful with each change. He began to change himself, as well, wanting to match his creation and her beauty, finally earning Galatea's desire and admiration. Karou is the only one who truly knows the depths of Pygmalion's manipulations, his alteration of Galatea's body, but her work cannot alter the mind, and so Karou has to believe that there's truly a connection between them.

Once they were together, Pygmalion took up the warrior's life alongside Galatea, letting her shape his training as he had shaped her, making of him a formidable warrior as he made her his beloved. Together, they guard the entrance to the clan, though Pygmalion is often called upon to assist with alchemy, as he's the only expert in the clan besides Nox, who can't be trusted to create things for anyone but himself. Still, Karou keeps as eye on Pygmalion from afar, and her piercing gaze has many times reeled in the mania in Pygmalion's eyes. He finds her meddling irritating, but he knows better than to upset the resurrectionist: if he spites her, he risks waking up in a body he did not ask for. 		light_0.png
