Galexia

Shadow Dragons are a valued resource in the Tangle Woods, and any dragons which are capable of becoming one is considered an honor to their clan and is welcome anywhere under Shadow control. Their job is considered meaningful, as it involves weaving shadows together and tracking their path through the dark Tangled Woods.

The job is physically demanding, often involving dragons to work for days on end hiking and weaving the shadows into a form that would please their deity the most, but most dragons find the experience a reward in and off itself. Over the course of the years it has developed into an art form, and it's not unusual for a group of them to hold a contest to see who can weave the shadows in either the most efficient or the most visually pleasing manner.

They each bear the distinctive marks on their bodies, as it's impossible to get so close to the abyss without feeling it's touch. It's a mark of pride among them, but can also be a cause of sorrow as they remember those who did not survive their first wondering.

Galexia is a Royal Dragon who travels to other clans as an agent for her Shadow clan. She is the Captain of the Royal Shadow Guild. Abandoned as a hatchling she wondered around before stumbling into the clan that would adopt her. Ever since she's felt protective of the people who raised her but also insecure. Everyone in her clan has shadow eyes excluding her and a couple other adopted dragons. Desiring to feel like she belongs she join the Shadow Guild and surpassed the previous Captain. This is also why Galexia is seen dressing in all purple to feel more included with her Shadow family. She has been with her clan for years and is considered to be one of the oldest dragons in the clan.

After the birth of her great granddaughter Mezza and grandchild Villixe she struggled tooth and claw to protect them. Galexia created the Shadow counsel for Primal eyed dragons. They are given to the counsel as a way to protect them from other dragons or clans that might want to cull them. But also, discreetly, from themselves. Galexia treats all Primal eyed dragons in the Shadow counsel as her own. And has very good relationships with each dragon.
