Hadi

The egg was found on accident - it had fallen from the skies, a young Wind Sprite desperately trying to keep it from hitting the ground after plummeting thousands of feet. But in good fortune and faith, Miaf, the elderly Guardian, found this odd, lost egg - and took it under her care. The Wind Sprite never left the egg's side, stubbornly refusing to do so, and when the little Tundra hatched, it was overjoyed - a beaming green ball of happiness.

This was the birth of Hadi, who had great things in store for the Clan of Asulas...

She sat at the windy hills, watching the skies with interest and, perhaps, even longing. With her fur dancing in the wind, something appeared - homage to the leaves in wind. She seemed content showing them to the little sprite that accompanied her. Yet the Wind Sprite declared it was a sign. That things were going to happen. Things were going to change.

None yet knew what those things were going to be...

There had been a storm, once just a breath on the air, yet it had turned into a crescendo of hollering winds -- one too strong for the dragons used to the Wispwillow Grove - the winds snatched poor and helpless Hadi to the sky, disappearing her to the clouds and causing a great wave of grief to wash over the Clan. That was, until, a few days later, she found her way back, gliding down on her new wings.

At first no one recognized her - but just one look into her eyes cleared the confusion. The little Tundra had transformed into a Spiral with large, beautiful wings. But no one knew why, exactly - not until Hadi declared that the storm had given her the power of flight she had always dreamed off…

That gentle autumn breeze had turned into a real storm - raging winds, that only the bravest of fliers of the Tangled Woods dragons dared to challenge. One of those fliers was Hadi, who dared to dash and test her new wings, gliding high above, and dive-bombing right back down. This daredevils dance was hypnotizing for the dragons below.

One more twist. One more turn. One more flap of wings. One more gust. Turn against the tailwind. Hadi was so thrilled in the moment, she couldn't help herself anymore - she'd have to challenge the gust that was blowing against her, she'd have to show she was the master of this part of the sky. And she was.

When the winds finally died off for the day, Hadi didn't need the dragons below tell her. She already knew. Her magnificent wings had become something else - new specks of colors painted by the autumn itself were formed patterns on them, and Hadi couldn't be happier from this gift from the winds.
