Okay, I've been watching a lot of Abridged and Funimation and movies and idk Piccolo is best dad and the internal dialogues with Kami and Nail are hilarious...he's my fave character! Piccolo
Piccolo Jr. (ピッコロ・ジュニア, Pikkoro Junia) is a Namekian and is the reincarnation and son of former Demon King Piccolo. He initially was an archenemy of Goku and participated in in the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament in order to avenge his father's death, but was defeated by him after a long bout. Five years later, he formed a temporarily alliance with Goku and after killing him and Raditz, took it upon himself to train Gohan and prepare him for the arrival of the two other surviving Saiyans Vegeta and Nappa. As time progressed, Piccolo went from being a ruthless warrior to a more compassionate ally (mostly due to his friendship with Gohan).

Through this experience, he suffered from a lack of friends in real life and resorted to social media to compensate for it. This scarcity of companions caused him to work together with Goku to save his son Gohan, putting his life on the line all because Goku promised to become his friend on Myspace in exchange for his aid in saving his son. Benefits of his distant times in alone allowed for Piccolo to know much about deserted areas for which only someone such as himself, a person who either sought or was content with being alone, would occupy. Unfortunately for Piccolo, others have caught on to his knowledge, such as Tien. Despite his general loneliness, Piccolo has been shown to communicate well with others, particular in exchanging dialogue with Tien and communications with Nail. Piccolo has largely deviated from his past trait in befriending Goku's son Gohan. The lengths to which he would go to ensure Gohan's safety are endless, be it taking blasts for him, dueling opponents that have attacked him or coming to save him without concern for the others. Piccolo's relationship with Gohan differs from his with the other Z-Fighters in that he genuinely likes Gohan, who he puts the safety of above the others, the Saiyan even being capable of swaying his position as it was Gohan that convinced him to assist Tenshinhan during his losing battle against Nappa. Despite their close relationship, Piccolo can often become frustrated with Gohan at times, either for what he believes is Gohan ignoring him, talking in a smart tone, or being inquisitive and asking a multiple of questions that Piccolo would rather not answer. |

| One of his defining traits is his intelligence, which he used to his advantage in convincing the androids they had killed the population of the city of Amenbo Island, leading Cell to believe he had won their fight, making plans to combat Cell and prevent him from absorbing the androids and mentioning the possibility of stopping Android 13 from transforming while everyone else just wanted. Piccolo also has used his intelligence to insult villains such as Raditz, Freeza, and Medamatcha. This has always resulted in some physical retaliation by the insulted, Piccolo for the most part being able to defend himself and sometimes even outclassing his opponent. In spite of his critiques, Piccolo is capable of giving credit when it is due, acknowledging Nappa as skilled after the latter was able to see through his and Krillin's attacks the Spirit Bomb as powerful enough to kill Freeza, and the Super Saiyan transformation as having been a milestone when Goku initially gained the ability. |
