  • he is completely, totally, hopelessly enthralled by the moon. he longs for something eternally out of his reach, and lives with that devastating realization every day.
  • he sleeps during the day and climbs to the highest part of the Observatory during the night, to watch the moon, draped in extravagant silks that barely fit and sipping expensive wine, staring up at the night sky, staring at the perfect face of the moon.
  • he goes kind of bonkers when he can't see it, during eclipses or new moons or any weather anomalies.
  • his kind of bonkers includes mainly just being mopey and depressed, making snarky, rude remarks if he knows the new moon is coming or the weather will be too rough for him to see the moon that night.
  • personality wise, aside from that, he's generally pretty approachable. he has a flippant attitude about him, dismissing things with a wave of a claw and a noncommittal huff.
  • he's very dramatic, and will show this in dramatic sighs and over-the-top floundering and flailing around.
  • he's an absolute wine snob. do not drink wine with him or offer to drink wine with him because he will either talk your ear off about wine (or the moon) or inconspicuously make fun of you for not knowing obscure facts about wine (or the moon).
  • but, aside from all that, the moon is and will always be his number one priority. he gets depressed and quiet when the moon isn't out, his usual over-dramatic self toning down to a husk of a dragon, one who desires something with his whole soul, but can never have it. he has bad days, occasionally, because of this.
