For as long as anyone can remember, Teardrop’s ancestors have been known as a family of lucid dreamers. Like her siblings, Teardrop inherited the talent to lucid dream, but when she entered adolescence she discovered that she had an additional power the rest of her kin lacked: an ability to enter and manipulate the dreams of others. Teardrop’s family, disconcerted by their inability to control her presence in their dreams, begged her to leave home. She spent the next several years wandering and offering her services as a nightmare dispeller before settling in Valkama. For a fee Teardrop can calm nightmares, aid restless sleepers, or provide nightly inspiration to artists. Although she comes off as mysterious and sometimes cryptic, those who get to know Teardrop will find a kind and light-hearted young coatl.
